The Maison — Terms

The terms of a considered exchange.

These terms describe the relationship between Umami Vault and the collectors who acquire pieces through the Vault. They are written to be read — not endured.

01 · Orders

Orders

Every order placed with Umami Vault is treated as an offer to purchase.

An order is considered accepted only when we issue an order confirmation. Until that moment, we reserve the right to decline any order — for example, when a listing has just sold out, when payment cannot be verified, or when we detect a pricing anomaly.

02 · Pricing

Pricing

All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable value-added tax within the United Arab Emirates. Duties and import taxes for international shipments are addressed separately below.

In the rare event that a piece is listed at an evidently incorrect price, we will contact you before charging and offer either a corrected order or a full refund.

03 · Availability

Product availability

Most pieces in the Vault are one-of-a-kind or held in single-digit quantities. Availability updates in real time, but on rare occasions two collectors may reach the same piece simultaneously. If a piece becomes unavailable after your order, we will notify you within one business day and issue a full refund.

Pre-orders are governed by their release date and the expected shipping window shown on the product page.

04 · Payments

Payments

We accept major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods presented at checkout. Payment is processed by our payment partners over encrypted channels; Umami Vault does not hold card details.

For high-value acquisitions, wire transfer is available on request through the concierge.

05 · Shipping

Shipping

Orders are dispatched from Dubai using fully insured couriers — DHL, FedEx, Aramex or an equivalent for your destination. Every shipment is packed to museum standard: rigid protection, moisture control and discreet outer packaging.

Tracking is issued the moment the courier collects. Delivery windows depend on destination and customs clearance; typical international delivery is between two and seven business days.

06 · Duties

Customs & import duties

For shipments outside the United Arab Emirates, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees levied by the destination country.

We declare shipments accurately and in full. On request, our team can advise on typical duty ranges for major destinations before you complete an order.

07 · Returns

Returns

Every listing is documented in detail, and any imperfection is disclosed before purchase. Because collectibles are, by nature, unique and condition-sensitive, sales are considered final on delivery.

If a piece arrives materially different from its listing or is damaged in transit, contact us within seventy-two hours with photographs. We will make it right — through repair, replacement or full refund, whichever is appropriate.

08 · Cancellations

Cancellations

Standard orders may be cancelled at no cost within two hours of confirmation, provided the piece has not yet been packed for dispatch.

Pre-orders may be cancelled at any time before the release date. Once the pre-order enters fulfilment, the standard returns policy applies.

09 · Liability

Liability

Umami Vault's liability for any single order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, secondary-market fluctuations, or the future grading outcome of a raw card.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you hold under mandatory consumer law.

10 · IP

Intellectual property

All photography, editorial writing, layouts and the Umami Vault marks belong to Umami Vault. Franchise names, character names, set names and rarity codes belong to their respective rights-holders and appear here solely to describe the pieces we offer.

Personal, non-commercial reference use of our content is welcomed. Republication or commercial use requires written permission.

11 · Jurisdiction

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through direct conversation with the Maison will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

Before a dispute becomes a matter of law, it is almost always a matter of conversation. Write to us — general@umamivault.com.
